Hello! I'm Anita Marshall, a Milliner and Headwear Designer based in Melbourne. I am so pleased to present my entry, 'Joy' into the Lillian Frank AM MBE Millinery Award for 2024. Creating headwear is such a wonderful process, with endless possibilities. Making millinery is an experience that brings me so much joy, a feeling that I wanted to bring to my piece. Inspired by my return to making millinery earlier this year, I wanted to create something that celebrated my newfound passion and direction. Creating a shared experience with those who see it is an important part of my process. Bright, vibrant and joyful is what I bring to this year’s Millinery Award. Anita x
