Michael Saadie is an experienced banker with more than 30 years’ experience in financial services across Australia, Asia, Europe and the UK.

Michael joined NAB in 2011 in the role of General Manager, NAB Corporate Australia with responsibility for major privately-owned companies and publicly listed ASX companies outside the ASX200.

Michael’s previous Executive roles at NAB also include Executive, Business Banking and Chief Risk Officer for Business and Private Bank. Michael has also led the NAB UK and Europe operations.

In January 2023, Michael commenced in his current role as Executive, Private Wealth and now leads NAB’s Private Bank, Private Investments, Investment Platforms and Products and JBWere teams. Michael has also held the role of Chairman, JBWere since April 2020.

Prior to Michael’s time at NAB he held key roles at ANZ over 20+ years leading businesses across Institutional Banking, Wealth Management, Private and Corporate Banking in addition to being appointed Managing Director of ANZ’s Asian businesses.

Michael has been involved in racehorse ownership for more than 30 years, along with interests in broodmares that supports his breeding interests.
