Flemington is one of the world’s leading racehorse training centres thanks to a variety of training tracks and its state-of-the-art facilities. There are eight training tracks including a 2,200m all-weather synthetic training track ensuring year-round access for the Flemington-based trainers and their stable of stars.

Ben Brisbourne

Ben hails originally from Shropshire in the United Kingdom. The son of now retired trainer Mark Brisbourne, Ben was raised in a racing and training environment as part of the family home.

It was Ben’s passion for flat racing that drove him to make the move to Australia in 2013, where he slowly laid the foundations of his future training career.

Edward Cummings

Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott

Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have been in partnership since 2016 and have been a dominating force in the Australian thoroughbred industry ever since from their Tulloch Lodge stables. Tulloch Lodge has produced some of the best horses ever to run in Australia, including the legendary Kingston Town and Tulloch.

Hawkes Racing

Michael, Wayne, and their father John Hawkes were the first three-person training partnership in Australian racing. Shane Jackson

Shane Jackson Racing is built on the expertise and passion of Shane Jackson, a renowned figure in horse racing. Shane’s journey began in Rathangan, Wicklow, Ireland, where he quickly made a name for himself as a talented jockey.
