The new collaboration promises to enhance the culinary offerings at Flemington Racecourse, setting a new standard for race day deliciousness.

"We are delighted to welcome Casper's Pies & Pastries as our Official Savoury Pie and Pastry Partner," VRC Executive General Manager Experience and Events Luke Kinniburgh said.

"Our approach to food and beverage at Flemington is to continue creating fresh, new products that hero local ingredients for racegoers to enjoy and Casper’s aligns perfectly with that vision.”

Casper’s Pies & Pastries is owned by Melbourne brothers David and Greg Kahan, who have been leaders in the hospitality sector for more than 30 years.

David owned the successful catering company Crave Catering for 20 years and Greg owns The George on Collins and Friends of Fire and Amphora at Marvel Stadium.

"We share a passion for quality and tradition, from classic meat pies to gourmet vegetarian and vegan options, Casper's will ensure there's something to delight every palate at Flemington.”

Caspers Pies & Pastries are hand made in Melbourne’s east with the finest ingredients and fresh seasonal produce.

More than 35,000 items from Casper’s Pies & Pastries savoury range will be served by the VRC’s Principal Hospitality Services Partner Crown Melbourne each year across more than 15 venues at Flemington Racecourse including The Bakery, G.H.Mumm Champagne Bar, The Forum, Saintly Place and dining and corporate areas.
