Charter’s Towers is located 1,350 kms North West of Brisbane. And is arguably Queensland’s most beautiful inland city. An old gold mining town they once ran the Charter’s Towers Cup back in the day which had prizemoney the equal of the Melbourne Cup.

On Saturday the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour will make its way to Charters Towers, QLD. Frist stop, the Charters Towers Charity Ball. VRC representatives will speak regarding the 2022 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour, the trophy and its meaning to Australasia and the Melbourne Cup Carnival. On Sunday, the tour will make its next stop at the Towers Rush Fun Day where there will be a Q&A session, and photo opportunity with the Cup. Lastly, the Cup will make its way to Dalrymple Villa for a final Q&A session.
