Join us at HQ for Spring Classics Preview Day, a relaxed day out for racing enthusiasts to witness spring stars prepare for glory over Cup Week.
With the Melbourne Cup Carnival firmly in sight, the three-year-olds will chase ballot exemption into the 2024 Group 1 Penfolds Victoria Derby or the 2024 Group 1 VRC Oaks (2500m) through the Penfolds Victoria Derby Preview (1800m) and the VRC Oaks Preview (1800m).

The Spring Social Club
Head to the west end of the Flemington Front Lawn for The Spring Social Club - your go-to destination for pickleball, pop-up bars, delicious pizza, and endless socialising.
VRC is delighted to introduce the extremely popular sport of Pickleball to Flemington over spring. In collaboration with the National Pickleball League a full-sized pickleball feature court will be set up along the famous Flemington Straight, just past the winning post
Flemington Stables Tour
The famous Flemington Stables will be open the morning of Spring Classics Preview Day for free tours by some of Australia's leading trainers. Register to attend by 12pm Friday 20 September, and you will receive complimentary General Admission entry into the course.

Phar Lap Club Paddle Club
Phar Lap Club members are invited to the Paddle Club, located at The Spring Social Club on the Flemington Front Lawn, for arts and craft, lawn games and fun Pickleball play on a Mini Pickleball Court. Plus, a free sweatband and ice-cream.
