ANZAC DAY STAKES
Looks a nice race for BLIND RAISE (1) who stamped himself as one to follow with an impressive maiden win at Sandown Lakeside, kept very warm in betting and coming right away to score by 2.25 lengths in good time. The bigger track here should suit beautifully and any further improvement sees him as the one to beat. SERAPHOX (2) was thought highly enough of to debut in a G2 Todman Stakes, outclassed there by Paradoxium before atoning with a solid maiden win last time. He can go on with it now. DRUMFIRE (3) steps up from 1100m having worked home well for second at Randwick Kensington last time out. Have to respect the Waterhouse & Bott yard here. PRIME PATTERN (5) has been thereabouts in all three runs to date and did start shorter than Blind Raise last time. Each way. PROFLIGATE (9) won well enough on debut and can continue to improve.
Getting off the mark on debut; came from midfield and won by 2.25 len at Sandown-Lakeside 2yo Hcp April 6 over 1400m defeating Harry Met Sally with 56.5kg at $3.20. Looks very smart and can go right on with it.

Last start favourite; won by a long-neck at Warwick Farm 2yo Mdn April 1 over 1300m on a soft track defeating The Roaring Sun with 57.5kg at $1.90. Progressing well and looks a strong hope.

Second-up 2nd of 10 at Randwick Kensington 2yo C&G Osc on March 25 over 1100m, on a slow track; 1.5 len behind Under Focus carrying 57kg at $3.20. Lands in a good spot and can figure.
